Interview with The Tao of Dana

The Tao of Dana is an awesome Tumblr Blog that is all about living a feng shui life! Run by Dana Claudat, a Pyramid School Feng Shui consultant,  The Tao of Dana is filled with postive and uplifting posts and great ways to feng shui your life! When I first stumbled upon her blog I lost a few hours going through pages and pages of her post, and once you check it out I’m sure you’ll do the same!

Now on to the interview!

Tell us a little about yourself:
About me? I’m a Jersey Girl at heart.( I used to dream of marrying Brett Michaels from Poison, so yeah, I had the hair, accent, makeup… The whole thing!) Making over people’s lives with feng shui and creativity fell upon me accidentally when I had to rebuild my own life after a catastrophic year. I hunt for people who knew Andy Warhol so i can know everything about his life. And I’m a die-hard Nichiren Shoshu Buddhist and believe everything and everyone in the world can attain enlightenment.

What makes your quirky?
A quirk? I drink my tea every day from a straw made from an empty honey stick, and have for almost a decade.

When did you start your Tumblr Blog?:
I’ve been on Tumblr and really committed since about May of 2009.

What inspired you to get started?
I started my Tumblr as an experiment to see if I could teach people how to see and feel their environments more clearly, and to inspire creativity in those who were stuck. I had no idea it would grow into a huge thing that defined my career!

How would you describe the feel your blog?
The feel? Elevated, colorful, compelling & motivating
What do you look for when creating a post?
My posts are all about a vision. I blog as though it were my diary so I am attracted to art and themes as the occur in my life or around me. I curate my posts, so what you see is what makes me feel the way I hope you feel when you see it!
Any advice you would like to share with our readers?
Dare to be yourself and be as creative as you can be in whatever type of life you have. Blogging has been my personal lifeline, and because I never knew how big it could grow I never censored myself. As it got bigger, I had moments where I lost my voice and almost wanted to quit. Then, I got back to me. It’s all about keeping your vision true!
We would like to thank Dana Claudat for this interview and letting us feature her blog. Be sure to visit the Tao of Dana on Tumblr to check out all her phenomenal feng shui advice!
