I tend to shy away from dark lipsticks (anything with more color than a pale pink or nude is dark in my book) because I hate the “feathered” look I always wind up with around the edges of my lips. I have never been cosmetic savvy enough to figure out how to prevent it, so I was pretty stoked when I came across this how-to from Jacyln at the aptly named Stay In The Lines.
The how-to will not only help you prevent lipstick feathering, but also to give you an overall perfect lipstick look. I was really impressed with the results when I tried it myself, after I got over the initial feeling of silliness brush my lips, and will definitely checking out more of the great tutorials on Stay In the Lines.
