I like hot chocolate almost as much as I like tea, and I like tea almost as much as I like coffee, and I don’t like doing dishes at all so that adds up to needing a lot of mugs in my cabinet. I pretty much gauge when it’s time to run the dishwasher by when I run out of mugs to drink out of… and this mug is totally fun to drink out of, but not as much fun as it is to slip to an unsuspecting guest.
You can get one of these “surprise” mugs in a few different styles. I almost wish I saw the shark version before I purchased the octopus, but alas my inky friend is still very amusing. I have not ever seen it really “surprise” anyone, the reaction is usually more of a confused what’s in my cup kind of deal or someone sticking their fingers in their beverage trying to fish out whatever “fell” into their mug, but for someone with low giggle resistance like me it is still very entertaining to watch.
