Butterbeer Cupcakes! You don’t have to be a Harry Potter fan to enjoy this yummy recipe from Pastry Affair, but it doesn’t hurt either. The “Butterbeer” Cupcake is actually a brown sugar cupcake with cream soda and butter flavor mixed in and a filling of butterscotch ganache. They are beautifully (and deliciously) topped off with a butterscotch flavored buttercream and a drizzle butterscotch ganache just for good measure. They taste so good I’m sure JK Rowling wishes she came up with them for Harry’s favorite treat!
If you are going to be throwing any sort of fall event, these cupcakes have that wonderful autumn look and taste that will make them a great addition. They would also be a lot of fun for wizards young and old alike on a Harry Potter or Halloween inspired dessert table. Make sure to label them like in the wonderful image above from Pastry Affair so everyone knows they are partaking in some Potter inspired fun!
