In the beginning for me, naps were completely a time to just sit and recharge my batteries. Adjust to motherhood. Get the dog out for his bathroom break, have lunch, pay bills, take a shower. Now, at a year and a half old and depending on the day, my daughter has decided naps are for babies. Who needs ‘em? Not this kid.

Congratulations to Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson on the birth of their first child! According to her website, Jessica gave birth to a 9lb 13 oz bouncing baby girl today, and named her Maxwell Drew Johnson.
