Life story

If one had ever Visited the Museum of Vadodara, then one must have seen the Stone of 1200kg on which it is written that in the year 1902 “Gulam Mohammad Baksh” walked while Holding the Stone. On listening to this it makes one amazed thus he is known as “Gama Pehlwan” who did many Records in Wrestling and not only won the “Rustom-e-Hind” title but also won the Rustom-e-Jahan” title and thus was one of the “Greatest World Champion Wrestler” of India.

He has to suffer a great setback in his life due to the death of his father when Gama was just 5 years old but wrestling was in his Blood. Thus later King of Madhya Pradesh “Bhavani Singh” took care of his training and Diet. Though his height was small his dedication and Wrestling technique were enough to make him the “Greatest Wrestler” of all time.

Later when he was 12 years of age, in one of the Competitions held in Jodhpur he was had defeated about 400 Wrestlers and was among the Top 10 Wrestlers who were greater in height and age than Gama, thus he was the Winner and later he didn’t stop and went on winning many more Titles.

In Lahore Gama had a fight with “Rustom-e-Hind” and “Rahim Baksh” whom no one had defeated thus the fight between Gama and Rahim took place in Lahore. And his fruit diet involves 2 to 3 plates of fruit. And he use to have about 2 to 3 kg  Khoya sweets during the weekends. And to Digest such a heavy diet he use to do a very heavy workout. He use to do 5000 baithak which is the Hindu Squat and in between those sets, he use to take 85kg of stone in his Neck and use to take baithak along with stone in his neck.
